Default Vodafone

Who's on Vodafone?

I changed over in January from 02 to Vodafone... and was told my monthly bill would be £35... no more unless i go over my calls or texts.

WELL

Just got a bill.... £35 + VAT which is now £41.13 a month... and i'm being charged for all of my picture messages when i was told they come out of my texts

Anyone else have this??

picture messages are 100% definately NOT included in the free txt bundles unfortunately.

I was with Vodafone for years and found them excellent, about a month ago though I had to change to Orange due to lack of signal at new house.

vodafone agreed that i shouldnt have to have the contract because phones for you gave me incorrect information about the package, its just vodafone cant cancel it as it isnt their fault...

and vodafone messed up with the VAT situation and have now sorted it.

I understand that but with Phones for You they only have a 14 day Guarantee and outside of that its very difficult to get out of the contract.

The problem you have is providing evidence to prove that they gave you incorrect information.

Good louck though

Im with Vodafone and they are the best network I have even been with but...........they are expensive , I found that when I joined the prices advertised did not inc vat. I get a allowance of free pricture messages but the picture messages do equal to 3 texts so they take a load of texts off you that why, so if you go over your texts, no free photos thats what I have found with them and I have been with them for 4 years now . Call 191 and ask for them to verbally to give you a break down of you bill.

The VAT was a mistake of theirs and has been fixed... all of their prices are INCLUSIVE of VAT as stated in their T&C...

As for the picture messages, they stopped including them in the text bundles in August 2006... its just that the guy in Phones 4 U didnt remember at the time and told me and Dal too that they are included, i specifically asked him because Dal gets charged for his, the sales guy told Dal to ring Vodafone because he shouldnt be charged for it...

We will go to P4U at the weekend and sort it... I am not paying for my MMS messages for 18 months!
