Today I go to see how much I have fuel pressure, and I have about 6 bar in idle!

is this normal? mechanic told me that I must put hose from fuel press regulator, to vacuum (inlet plenum) to lower the pressure.

Base fuel pressure should be between 5.7 and 6 bar. The control pressure (the pressure inside the meter unit) will be around 3.7 bar at 6 bar base pressure. It's perfectly normal as the system needs this pressure when on full boost/load.

 

I check pressure betweb fuel filter and metering head.
