Right my escort is due to hit 100k soon and i want to do a bloody good service on her, its my daily runner and does me proud! its a escort si 1.8 (115bhp)

i normally oil changed it bout every 10k but thats bout it! Gotta lil list of things im gonna do, have i miss anything?

Cambelt
Alternator belt
Filter's Air, oil and petrol
Spark plugs
Oil
Change cooling water
Change brake fluid and bleed brakes, (changing rear shoes any how)

Also thinking , not sure if its worth it: Injector's cleaned!

Any think esle i sould consider?

 

Cabin filter (If it has one)
Injectors dont normally need cleaning. Unless you have a problem I would leave them alone . Dont forget to put the cam belt tentioner and idlers on,

Yeah gona do tentioner, whats a cabin filter is it something to do with aircon?

 

its called a pollen filter it filters the air coming into the car it is better to change these too also check the wheel bearings flexi pipes you could change the g/b oil too it depends how far you want to go into the service
dont forget to check the spare tyre

 

Some people call them cabin filter others pollen filter.
As said most new cars have them but only older cars with air con.
