one of the rear shocks on my XR2i runaround is fooked ans need to replace both rears for the MOT at the end of the month. its fitted with spax non adjustables but spax cannot supply them until the end of march.
Can i replace them with another make or will this affect the handling etc???

For now you could just bung some standard shocks on the rear until they come into stock, might bottom out a bit with a full car though

Should be ok though, one of my old cars had spax and a rear one was leaking so i just used a couple of standard shocks.
