hi sorry if i sound a bit dim but a bit new to s1 turbo's after owning a mk2 x-packed rs2000,right anyways jacked the car up to get underneath all stoned chip/painted white and noticed a green wire hanging down next to oil filter and a valve to the right of the oil filter with an oil pipe coming from it.should that green wire be fitted to that.

thanks was the oil pressure switch,had no light on dash till i refitted wire.
