maybe worn piston rings? or maybe rich mixure and bore wash.

if engine consumes much oil it is maybe worn piston rings but then you will have smoking signals

no smoke when driving or giving the car a hard time and the dip stick pipe was right out of the block the engine is still quite a fresh rebuild only done 12k so i think its just to do with the pipe i hope anyway ?

Wrong!

Its an air leak, not losing pressure (crankcase pressure is bad)

A bit of strong (green) thread lock on the tube before you fit it will prevent it leaking and stop it coming out again.

Ive seen this type of problem loads on modified RST's, fitment of a decent beather system has often cured the problem.

if you have a baailys breather system them it wont run lump as it will no longer be an air leak as the bailys system breaths to atmos no the metering head, like wise with efi converted cars, mine looks like some ones used clear silon and gunned it in

doesnt make the cr lump though, and not loosing oil form it,

can you still buy new pipes?
