My S1 problem.STILL!!!!!!!
ok peeps, i got the metering head out using a hammer, blood and brute force.
the good news is i have the replacement metering head on (
gup)
THE BAD.............
10 minutes to start her, doesnt smell of petrol now, no petrol fumes in the engine or from the exhaust....HOWEVER............
i still have the bloody misfire
so problem is still there...spark plugs,dizzy, ht leads, oil, boost pipes are all new.
any ideas why im still misfireing??
Rev counter sits nicley on 1000rpm doesnt jolt around the dial.

its constant as soon as you start it.
was told it was on cylinder 3...compression test was ok. They said to much fuel was being put in the engine and the metering unit would need replacing. Ive done that today but still have my misfire.

swap injectors about? and see if its still on same cylinder?

gotta be an injecter then fella pull the plugs out and c the differant colours or the one thats wet
if that make sense fella
