MK5 Escort SI Ghia has Amplifier as standard - need an ISO
My car is MK5 Escort SI Ghia
I has the Standard ford amplifier behind the Glove box on the passanger side.
i pulled the stereo out (standard ford) and it has only the power leads on the back and 1 plug - the other wire runs into the amp (speakers) which is of a shape i've never seen before!?
Is there an ISO Adapter for the cars with the standard ford amplifier system?

Yep. You can get it from any good audio shop or Halfrauds. Is about Ł22 from Halfrauds. You will need the ISO lead set for a 2007 setup.
Make sure though that the lead plugs in fully for the speaker / amp part. It can be awkward.

By the way, what did you mean buy the 2007 part?
my cossie has an amp behind glovebox, couldn't get a lead for it. so i had a look at the amp, where the speakers plug into the amp it is a normal fod connection (like the one that connects the speakers to a non-amp head unit)
I bought a normal ford -> iso adaptor and soldered in some extension wires and connected the speakers there.
