Default Oil leak on new engine..

Hi all,

I just recently rebuilt a cosworth engine and an oil leak became apparent after running the engine for a while.. After checking everything i decided to take the motor back out, and it appears to be the head gasket leaking oil out the back of the engine..

Has anyone got any ideas as to why this would occur ?? the gasket is a GPA item from burton power and the engine is fresh, i payed to have the bottom end professionally assembled and i had the head surface ground and checked out b4 i put it together an on to the block, I am using ARP head studs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Damion.
