Im on the look out for a concours or really really clean rs1600i. Is this one going to be for sale? If so do you have any more photos and infomation on the historyof it? Very intrested willing to travel for the right car.
i had to cut a big hole in the grill to get air into the huge intercooler and on into the rad.. so the mesh looks a bit better... the standard grill is very restrictive as only the bottom few bits let air through...

Have you thought about chopping the middle out a Orion grille and meshing it? if i find a pic of one i'll put it up, they look well smart
and thats it before i BUTCHERED it
lol, been getting stick from the bufty brigade have you
My mate had 90 spec interior in his mk3 3i, the black with red piping one, looked
Wonder if those buftys will like my standard engine bay?
I don't want to start a discussion about turbo'ing a rare RS1600i.. but when you decide to do this, then throw out the injection and fit at least a RST one, the right ecu and the RST dizzy. RSi inlet and rocker cover will work fine with them...

Why would i want to fit a RST injection system when they are pretty much the same? also the dizzy has been modified for turbo spec so it'll retard on boost, you never heard of the Turbo Technics conversions?
Ok so RSi's are getting rare but this one was heading for the scrapyard before i saved it and it'll never be a concours car anyway. Ive done the standard stuff and want to experiment before i snuff it
