Christ!

Standard 16v Rallyes are quick enough! That must be mental! Whats it weigh? 800kgs?

Cornering with mine is all sorted, it's just the cams and live map I'm waiting for now!

Too right mate... we got chatting to two lads who had turned up in their BMW M6 and had never done a track-day before....giving it the usual big licks....V10 this....507BHP that...

They came out behind me on the 2nd session and they obviously monstered me on the first straight but once we'd gone round a few bends they were soon dropping back.....2 laps and they could no longer be seen

Thats the fun of hatches!

I had Tony (NUTS RuS) in with me at Oulton, on a novice day mind, but it was my first track day too. Saph Cossie behind took a bit to catch up after some nice twisties!

Your probably right mate but I should be able to have a good go though. I've got a few trick suspension bits now and the Toyo R888's so should handle pritty well. Going to be more of a confidence issue I recon lol

Just had a thought John...... me and my mate Paul last summer brought an external bracket to mount on the car to do some filming. I could bring this along to the next track day and hopefully get some wicked clips are you aloud these on track? Ideally we still need to purchase a bullet camera to help minimise wind noise, but I recon we could get some good footage

No problems filiming on track as long as the camera is securely mounted
