Default Night club culture

Ok, I will be brutal....

I fooking hate RnB, Hip hop etc.

It is my opinion that these music styles are killing off what I call
"classic dance club" culture.

Give me an uplifting dance track any day

Anyone got any opinions on this.

Agreed,

I am not a fan of hte new hard house, Like tidy nights and the new hardcore is utta shit.

I go to the emporuim in coalville sometimes and pops some dicso biscuts. I would go more if there was more old skool.

92 - 93 were fucking great years

Yeah, shut up you clown

Thats like old fuckers saying dance music wrecked rock and bollocks like that.

And rock wrecked whatever old shit was before that.

Clubs play whats popular, there are tons of just dance music lubs, and most clubs play dance one floor, and other floors for people who want to do other stuff barring prance around all pilled up with glowsticks

Times move on, if clubs dont play what you like anymore, thats cause its old and not so many people like it now, not clubs faults.

You can't beat a good bit of drum and bass or some dark side jungle.

Stavros,
You have just pretty much confirmed what I have said in that one style
of music is killing another.

I may be old but I assure you my tastes are very much modern
just none of that sh*t as I originally described.

In my club the main room is as I like it and the DJ does has he is told.
(we have 4 rooms which play different styles)

I say all this because we recently did a kids night at the club and all the
fookers asked the DJ to play was all the ganster and RnB crap.

Makes me think dance will be dead when they all grow up in 5 to 10
years and become our new customers.

Simon, kids have always liked the "gangsta" as u put it - think it's MTV that does it.... By far the majority of clubs round here play house, this being manchester, and that's what's popular.

I went to Deniros in Newmarket at the weekend, i had not been clubing for a couple of months. I was getting in a right saulk as iam a "gangster tune" and R`n`B shite played back to back.

Then the proper club tunes came on Sandstorm, Zombie Nation etc came on the dance floor filled and everyone went nuts........ for about half an hour, then they were back to "sideways shooting" music.

WTF is going on with "kids" these days?

Default music

I was raving back in the late 80's when it all started, finished up on the jungle seen and fucking loved it early to mid 90's was rocking and I used to go to venues such as the Lazer drome peckham, SW1 in victoria, andrenaline village chelsea and a few others,

Hip hop is cool and was into it in a big way when I was younger, not really a fan of RnB or soul but horses for courses I guess and I don't think one style of music kills another its just your own preference, most clubs play what is mainstream nowadays, the dance seen is no longer "underground" as it was back in the day

I dont really like hard core or trance but can tolorate house

yep its proper moody in places, all due to fucking r n b, cuntish music.

Going on my last 10ish years experiance of romford

you classic garage / house back in the mid 90s , people got pissed, were happy had a little punch up, bouncers kicked shit out of everyone, then people went home to bed

these days since the RnB revolution of shit, the drinkings less, everyone seems fucked off, fighting everywhere, bouncers just get them outside shuting the doors, they bugger off, getting there kru' and come back stabing people and all sorts of shit,

Plus how the hell are you sposed to reach for the lasers with RnB

Clubbing has died around here aswell really, gone are the days of Golden, quality DJ's and great people, instead we get countless bars playing funky house and people more concerned with how their hair is to what's playing.

I really cant be doing all the R&B shite, its just plain boring music.

Much rather be in the dance room or cheesy pop room where all the fun is happening

Only trouble is, most birds (Esp the fit ones) are all loving the R&B

I agree, though i'm more a Rock/Metal/Punk sort of guy, but I do like the the good old uplifting club beats.

Theres a club local to me at the moment changing its name from Sugar to Smack...... i'm sure thats a great night out. f00kin RnB bollox. also why do they call it RnB? theres little rythm and no blues, smacking/fucking 'bitches' in the ass and doing drugs aint bluish...., im sure they are all quite happy. Bob would turn in his grave is he knew what they were doing to the title RnB.

I guess I'm just too white and nerdy though..... HAHAHA F'U RnB
