Default Hid conversions. Question.

Just a quick question for those who know, when you buy an aftermarket hid conversion, yo obviously get the ballast and wiring and the bulb / holder but do you get the glass dome lense that is fitted to the cars that are fitted HID as standard? Or do you just put the hid bulb in place of the old one? I've got all the bits together as i had a set of lamps from an 06 Range Rover that had faulty seals on the lense so were condensated, i've also got the glass dome bits in question but can't see how i could fit them to look half decent.

Thanks peeps.

I bought a kit from Vision Bulbs and the domed lenses arent included. (my car has them anyway). I dont think its just the lenses you will need as the dome is designed to reflect off the back of the lamp so would imagine you need the whole lot... Deffo worth looking into as they make a hell of a difference!!!

on my bike, i just put it straight into the headlamp. the beam pattern is spot on, as the bulb is built into a shaped holder
