Since I have had the car a few months and been a member on here for a while I thought I should get some pics up and Thames water lifting the hosepipe ban seemed as good a reason as any to give her a clean and polish. Halfords also had a 3 for 2 offer on all Auto Glym products
I bought shampoo and wax and also a bumper restorer which is bloody amazing stuff
Anyway the car is a 1988 'E' vintage and is pretty standard apart from being poly bushed throughout and having braided brake lines fitted. I fitted a new Master Cylinder just after I got her and also replaced the signal amplifier and coil to fix an annoying misfire. Apart from that she has been a sound little car and much more fun to drive than anything I have owned for ages.
Jobs for this year will be get the rust around the sunroof seen to and also the battery tray is looking abit scabby underneath but I haven't fully investigate that yet so who knows what I might find.
For those that may remember it this is Neil Clarke's old one that I bought from him back in July 06
Here's a couple of pictures. The quality is not great but the sun was really bright and low and my camera didn't deal with it very well.
2 exterior shots

Hope you like and I will get some better pictures up soon. I feel like a proper member now everyone has seen my car..

cheers..
I went mad with the bumper stuff
bumpers, body kit, back of the spotlights, door handles, mirrors...
it covers up the white polish residue a treat.

Pretty sure it says interior use aswell but check it for yourself before plastering it everywhere
It's just called Auto Glym bumper restorer and was Ł5.99 in Halfrauds.
The polish itself is not black, it's like a green slime, so I imagine it would go well on any colour trim.

Thanks
