I like it smooth, think it looks nice and different. There's loads of near standard ones about, this one stands out from the crowd

Only reason i'm asking is because I've recently got hold of a MK2 Orion as abit of a project...
And the n/s front wheel don't sit right... the wheel sits about half inch further back than the other side... ( we've been over the car and there are no signs of accident damage, so it must have clipped a curb at some stage )
I've got new suspension to go on it... its had a new bottom arm... I've got another anti-roll bar plus new bushes to fit at some stage...
But have been told to replace the stub axle...
So is the same problem you've got with yours???

Its a H-reg 1991 1600i ghia... was parked up for nearly 2 years... got it a couple of months ago...

The paint aint perfect but the shell is solid... only wants 2 little plates on the floor and 2 new rear arches on the rear... because im picky...
Thats it... so its a perfect shell for what i'm planning for it...
Over the last 2 months I've just been picking up parts on the cheap for it...

Collected so far... full S2 kit for it, 90's spec front bumper and turbo bonnet...
A set of 2nd hand Koni adjustables
Full Mongoose system with abit of extra to adapt it to fit the Orion
2nd hand sunroof as mines jammed...lol
ARB...
Plan is for a full respray in Moonstone blue with the turbo kit fitted and a saff spoiler, no locks.... thats about it...
16's or 17's... not sure on what wheels yet
Recaro front seats and a retrim in the rear... keeping it suttle
Then a 2 litre zetec turbo...( aim is near 300bhp ) or maybe fit a Focus RS lump... I need to look into whats involved in doing this abit more first...

Before I really start on it eg paint/ and engine...
gotta sell MY98 STi type R:-

As I hit 25 this year and am after getting on the property market with the misses...
The sale of my Scooby will give me a better deposit to put down... although I wanna keep abit back to get things moving on the Orion... as this is gonna be my toy...

cool sounds good . did you know that a saff cossie interiour will fit in the orion .? as ive got recaros in front of mine and a saff rear seats. plans for mine are get mot (will be done by 24th feb) ive got a front mount intertcooler on the way and -31 kent cam and then have her set up to 15psi. it will stay like that untill after santa pod in march then its going low comp with a 1.9 tall block just going to try and get the most out of the engine really . between that though my mate is gone to sort out the body work and respray it(only going to cost around Ł650 still same colour though) . and thats about it really untill im 20 then i think i might move on to a saff cossie.

as she satands the engine mods are as follows
.chip
.hybrid turbo
.fullset of blue samco's
.full s/s/ zorst
.dump valve
.inductin kit
.i think there is more but my minds gone blank
oh and the chrome/polished bits n bobs.

how much you going to be looking for for the scooby?

sortedscort... have you got any decent pics of the saff interior fitted to the Orion... I have heard they fit... was just woundering how well...?

Price wise for the Scooby... if anyone is seriously interested then they can PM me... its not up forsale just yet... but will be in the next couple of months unfortunatley...
It owes me mega money... but the spec is awesome... its having a new ecu fitted this weekend, along with 800cc injectors and a boost tweak...

hi mate i havent got any pics of seats as of yet the only ones ive got are at top but ill get you some on sunday mate . i assume they fit perfect but mine are slightly out due to the rears being pushed out slightly at each end becouse of roll cage but i think its kwl as where it pushes them out it makes them sort of like a bucket rear bench lol
