I am breaking an early type (Pre May 83) XR3I, and using the shell and a few other bits for my track project...

Engine is available- 75000 miles, full service history, runs very very well! I dropped the water the other day and it was bright blue! I was amazed! (Engine now sold)

Also other bits available (Just ask and i'll see if ive still got it (Or if i want to sell it))

Other parts include: (Not that much im afraid when i started seeing what was left)

Dashboard & all switches excluding clocks (Two cracks in the usual place)

Metering Head/Airbox

All suspension (Pre May '83)

All braking system inc servo & master cylinder (Except front discs)

Exhaust (Standard but solid)


Its all stuff that will be thrown away, just thought it might be some use to someone somewhere!

The seats were the ones with the red piping, and are provisionally sold through a friend, but the guy hasnt picked them up yet and it is all sat round my mates house awaiting collection.

If he eventually turns round and says he doesnt want them i'll let you know

Yes we do, but we changed venue a couple of years ago...

Used to be the Steer Inn, but we now meet at the Wellington Oak a bit further towards Pocklington. (Last tuesday of the month)

Dont know how i'd go about packaging them for protection for a start, and i expect it would cost quite a bit due to size and weight.

 

Have you got any pics of the dash and how much would you want for it posted if any good i no parcel force 48 would be £15 as i sold a dash not so long ago for mk4 escort let me no

 

I do still have the dash, and its in decent condition but not perfect- it does have a couple of cracks but they arent too big...

I'll dig it out, take some pics and post them but may not be tonight...

Im still interested but wouldnt have a clue what to offer the top isnt better than mine but the glovebox looks to shut level and the stereo hole looks good have you got a rough price in mind as i would rather save it than see it thrown away lol
