I need to strengthen my driveshafts for my Orion Mk1 RST as now I will be fitting a Quaife gearbox. Do you know of anyone who makes aftermarket driveshafts for them or any modifications? Thanks

 

only needed if you launch hard get some progressive boost control

what else have you got done to enable you to launch properly?

 

Well apart from the engine mods... semi-slicks tyres and omex launch control rev limiter. Later on quaife gearbox with paddle clutch and quick shift.

With just the cv35 camshaft, motorcraft chip, bigger intercooler and semi-slicks tyres I did 0-60 feet in 1.9s. And the Orion is a bloody heavy car. Finish line with just these mods 13.6s. Now I'm eager to try to go down to 12s after 2 years spending money while in the garage!
