Well no, its Stian that built Leif's ex Rallycross shell to a better, stronger standard. So if its going to be any better, its due to Stian's hands...

I love Martin's car, its got awsome quality throughout. But it isn't any match for Stian's ex WRC Cossie

im sure thats down to a diffrent prefrence though, why would any one at reyland or the reyland cars need to prove they can drift , surely its about going as quicly as possible, in a strightline or round bends ? and proving what they can do

i have seen a lot of clips with both cosworths but i am interested in what is done in the engine, what parts there are used - turbo, gearbox, electronics, inerior ... tha car history ... Can some one give a copy of the Performance Ford magazine feature - In the October 2006 Issue

No idea what you said, but I know Stian's bought a rally prepared MK6 Fiesta to fit the Cossie engine from his blue WRC Escort into...should be well mad!

 

Some discussions about that on norwegian forums... But not much confirmed though. Some plans for a 3dr as well...

 

I heard stian has the engine of leif's escort rs 2000 and he is fitting engine into has new car or he is ftting the engine into his wrc escort.

 

Loads of rumours and gossip about... Dont believe it all... As far as I know Leif has bought the WRC Escort shell and is fitting parts from the ex rallycross Escort into that. But nothing confirmed.

I think you'll find Stians is proper WRC with active diffs etc so I'd put my money on it being fundamentally quicker than Martins around a track.

Do you honestly believe that a full on WRC car with Active diffs, proper wrc front and rear end is not more effective than a well modified standard based cossie setup. Now I don't claim to know a fraction of Martins set up but I do know he hasn't got active diffs, and the rear beam looks to be based on the standard layout.

Put the same engine in both cars and which do you think would be quicker around a track? If it isn't why to the rally teams spend all that money on development
