Exactly!

Camskill are selling them cheap @ Ł173

There is a way of getting them for Ł140 but it requires a Ł35 outlay and a bit of hastle/waiting!

You can get Toyo R888s in 235/45/17 if they will fit?

Cheers Si but the biggest i can go is 40profile or else they hit the spring cups and i really dont want to go coilovers, also think the archs will need sorting then aswell.

I have 235/40/17 Toyo T1-R's at the min and they are good for the road and wet track days. Need something that i wont cook after 2 laps for the summer though.

Can you 'adjust' the cups at all? Seen people use adjusting tools such as a hammer and file

Coilovers are great on track too as long as you get the right ones...

Shame really as if you like T1Rs you will LOVE what R888s will do for your car in the dry....

Cheers Si the 235/40 are quiet close tbh bud dont think there be any chance of 45 profile going without coilovers. Will have a look around might mean going to 16's on the rear i dont know yet. The fronts are easy to get just backs.

Cars used for alot of road driving and when went on track at Donington on the 29th was really nice to drive so dont want to mess untill tried a few other things first.

LOL at Nath

tbh mate you may find a 225 wide track tyre a lot better than 235 road tyres

as an example i had 245's on the back of the saff, and have replaced them with 215 paradas which are just as grippy, and in summertime i expect will be even grippier by a fair way

I think that might be what i will have to try tbh bud, i would take 225 but thats not really that easy to get hold of either. Something will turn up if search hard enough.

I've heard alot that the 888s go off after a few laps mate because they're so sticky, so if you're looking for track day tyres that don't go off after 2 laps (like you mentioned above) then they may not be suitable?!
