I was using the mrs's dishwasher to wash some engine parts yesterday.

 

Well she was'nt impressed the 1st time i did it But it was'nt as bad as the time i used to bath to clean my old S1 Exhaust

But the finish on this Washer bottle realy looks the bollox I'll get a new pic up soon with the paint now hardened and dry

i dont have a dish washer But i did buy the Oven If i had room for a dish washer i would have one tho be so much easyer to clean bits

Its good stuff but a pain to use you have to put 2 coats on around 10mins apart then a 3rd HEAVY coat 4hours later BUT the heavey coat tends to run i have got away with it as its not seen luckly

But if you can use a Oven its leaves alot better finish

How do you move the stuff from the spray-bay (wooden box in the kitchen by the look of it ) into the oven without getting paint on you?

 

Local shop to me that stock over spray cans ect i have heard Burtons ect do it

 

Not tobad poped outside the back door once the spray wash warm and the parts ect sprayed so the Smell was'nt to bad

 

Tell me thats just your car part baking oven

 

Dan Fpmls they peal the spuds in the front room when watching the TV so we can bring parts in doors to do

 

Well i carefully remove the items off the box and slid them into the oven just cant paint the back other wise it leaves lines in the paint (i found that out with the swirl pot )

 

My mrs's dishwasher was paid for by her parents. She said if i break it i've got to buy her a new one but there is no reason why it would break it.

The oven is a good idea for drying paint though. I will have to do this when a paint something next.

 

I would be lieing if i did

BUT i have spoken to the missus about getting anther one then i can move this one out to the shed And as my shed is 18x12 it wont use to much room and i could also stay out there when working and just put some thing on to cook instead of going back indoors

 

oven needs a good clean
