can you us a stranded transfer box or does it have to be a quaife?cheers paul

its helical gears would be great for a road car,been shot peined to give extra strength

do you know how many miles it's done on the current build?

 

you say the box is a quaife box , but the gears in it are helical will they be any stronger than a standard box
just because the gears have been shot peined ???
or is there more to it

 

it has a big tooth quaife gear kit fitted,the teeth are huge compared to a standard box to give more strength and shot peined makes them stronger on top of that
helical appose to straight cut so its not as noisy (but also not as strong as straight cut)
there is no recipt for the build and it has been sitting a while,altho i do think this price is very cheap considering the gear kit alone is £2800 plus vat
