Default BMW Help e36 2.0Litre thingy

I know this isnt a BM site but please help (because I cant be bothered to register on a bmw one )

My mrs has a 2.0L straight six e36, the things a bit gutless till about 3.5/4 k revs and the fuel consumption is 18mpg

Im guessing an airflow meter but would this cause poor fuel consumption?

Thanks in advance

I've just had my Merc diagnosed as that as it was doing exactly the same thing as your description. Have a browse on here as its pretty handy for info http://www.bmwland.co.uk/talker/inde...4656225795ed40

You'll notice quite a few Passionforders on there as well

isnt that about standard for the 320? as gutless as a 316 with the fuel consumption of a 325 .the 320 is the worse on all levels unfortunately.
