has anyone attempted to fit an mtx box to a fiesta?
have spoken to a couple of companies regarding the conversion and also making a few bits up, however after speaking to jano at oddkids the parts i have thought about getting made will not work.
the main problem apparently is that not only different splined drive shafts need to be made but also shorter shafts are needed.
the way i was going to overcome the difference in the shafts was to get quaife to make me up a one off ATB for an MTX using BC splined driveshaft holes, meaning i could have used std fiesta turbo shafts and CV joints.
now im not disagreeing with jano but as far as i know this idea has never been tried so im now not sure if its the mtx side CV's are longer that means the shafts need shortening or its the whole box around the diff is wider meanng shorter shafts.
anyone got any ideas?
