Default 1.8 zetec ported head will fit 2.0l

after stripping my engine to find the prob i was convinced it was the head but guess what, it aint!!
i paid a bloke to strip the head and check it out and he said it all looks fine and its dead flat.
as i now have another ported head for my new lump i dont need this one so i gonna sell it.
its bare at the mo where it was checked out, all valves are placed in order and i have the cam caps and bolts.
i have 16 new valve stem seals to throw in with it.
i also have the springs and 16 tappets.
it looks like a stage 2 port ive been told, what ever that is.
i have the reciept for the head for £390.
it was purchased in 2003 but as many people know since i aquired the head in 2004 i have only done 300 miles with it so its not hardly been used.
dont really know what to ask for it, offers at first please.

Is this a blacktop head or a silvertop one?

Fitting this to a 2.0 litre will lower the compression ratio as well.............not good for turbo applications!

If it lowers the compression ratio when fitted to a 2ltr, why is this not good for turboing Means less meat to remove from the pistons if going down that route

Bri.

It would lower the compression RATIO...............which means you get MORE compression. Surely on a turbo engine you want to get less compression because you're boosting the air going into the cylinder.

Anyways, completely off topic. Still awaiting answers to the questions posed.

Admit it Dave, you got it the wrong way around. 1.8 on a 2.0 raises the CR from 10:1 to 11:1 on standard pistons.......just cos you got me to fit a 2.0 head on your 1.8.
