Default ib5 gearbox.......

ive seen a few rst's running these boxes over the bc items...... are they stronger??? is there any differculties in fitting one????whats the differences???do the come in a ratio similar to series 2 rsts????and what do these come out of??

iirc the only difference is a slightly better designed layshaft bearing. They still aren't all that much tougher though.

If you want a box to last give Bernie a call at CTS. HIs is the only box my S2 hasn't eaten and spat all over the tarmac. I really can't rate them highly enough.

oh right......so what are ib5 boxes out of???? do they fit cvh engines??
