Default escort cabrio insurance(turbo)

my insurance is due at the end of the month, and i just wandering whos good to go with (with and without mods)and who can give the best cover...
im 25 years old
7 years no claims (must be protected)
3 points (sp30)-got cought doing 41mph in a 30 zone...
comprehensive cover....

im with adrian flux at the min (£360.00)ish........

aa was cheapest for me, £230 fully comp on my s2.... got 7 years protected n all.

Thats pretty cheap as it is mate. Have you declared the cabriolet as being a tubro (being as they never made a turbo one)

And just for your info protected no claims bonus is a waste of time

I pay £304 all mods declaired with a garanteed value of 8k with HIC and i have 1 year ncb lol

Got it on a classic policy

mines listed as an xr but her pink one is listed as an rs turbo with a convertable modification.....she pays about 400 cause its a Q plate(smash and rebuild in 1992)iv not declaired any mods....

I'm with Quinn. 22 (at the time) with no no claims (been named driver on dad's policy for 5 years, so they gave me credit for that) and am £600 ish FC. But no mods declared.......

Can I start to ring them, say on a monthly basis and say I've just bought some wheels, I've had it lowered, etc. I appreciate the premium will increase, but id does worry me its down as standard, when its blatantly not!

Thats cheap, i spent ages shopping around for my renewal this year on my run about Orion 1.6i (not using the cabby), i tried classic policies and they were all over double what i could get a normal policy for, HIC wanted about £600 and its a standard car?!!!!

Went back to Tesco in the end for £260 (third party only)

cabbyturbo, just make sure you don't hit anything or kill anyone, cos then you'll be fucked
