You should find that'll do the job for you mate. I've just received mine in the post today. Although listed for a Escos, I've checked with the seller who has confirmed they are exactly the same for the Sapphire. I'm gonna have a go at changing mine tomorrow.

If your car is a 2WD Sapphire then the kit that is mentioned in the above post will not work mate. (judgeing by the brackets on your bumper I'd say yours looks like mine which is 2WD.
The brackets are not available anymore from Ford or the guy on ebay cosworthshop-com
I got dicked by the guy who you've just brought your brackets from paul, those won't fit without cutting and plastic welding etc etc.
This was the case for my 1988 2WD Sapphire anyhow.
What I had to do in the end is take the brackets to a plastic welder and have then welded back together. The chap who did mine did a great job mate. I'm fairly certain that will be the cheapest option also.

Check this thread I made on the RSOC when I was rebuilding my front bumper. http://bbs.rsownersclub.co.uk/showthread.php?t=100052

Mine's a 4x4, would that be different??

It's piddling down here, so haven't had chance to get under it yet today.
