Default V5 capacity change...?

Hi,
does anyone know what you have to do to get the cylinder capacity figure changed on the V5 document (e.g. if you're putting a larger engine in)?

Cheers,

Just fill in the change section (7) on the V5. send off, wait for new v5.

Did my Focus last year 1600cc to 5000cc, no problems, except they left the old engine number on the v5, I assumed wrongly that they would delete the number as I didn't supply the new number so if you know the new number fill that in as well.

I thought DVLA might have automatically removed the old engine number, or even asked for the new one or an inspection but then that's DVLA for you.
So if I bought a brand new 5ltr block and stamped the old 1.6 number in would that make it O.K .

Does your 302 have any stamped engine numbers?
Mine just has some cast in ones and nothing that identifies it as an individual engine If I gave the DVLA the cast in numbers there would be hundreds of cars with the same engine number ??

It's on the flat surface on the rear upper surface just behind where the lower inlet fastens on, between the 2 cylinder banks, above the flywheel/flexplate, was under rust originally.
