One of my mates has suggested magaluf. And the others want malia. But ive heard that the greek islands are no good this year due to the problems in previous years with fighting and people gettin arrested. So heard they gone mega strict! so, where is every one goin this year. I think magaluf be the safer bet. Cheers andy.

i went to magaluf in 2005, not on a lads holiday, just with the missus and some mates.

its quality, good if you like football cos everywhere shows the game, and there was very little fighting when i was there

nice and cheap and plenty to do, plus theres the bonus of if you want to escape the noise, theres palma nova right around the corner (literally)

i'm planning to go back there this year, lads only though

 

If you could balance the high cost of a flight against the pence you'll spend when you're there, Thailand would be a different destination. Plenty to do, loads of back-packers to take advantage of, and lady-boys if that floats your boat.

Try to think out of the box. We've done Germany, Vegas, New York, Croatia, Switzerland, Austria to name a few over the years, as well as doing Megamuff, Ibiza and Ayanapa etc to death. The last 3 are all great but there's only so much football (that you can watch at home) and pissed fat sweaty mingers you can take.

My top holidays of all time would be the two 6 weeks holidays in Australia, once with a couple of mates and once with the wife (honeymoon). Those were so good it's impossible to describe...... (an understanding employer is also a bonus!)

i dont even get 30 days holiday a year!

 

Both times I've been to Oz I've had to get agreement from my manager a year in advance, work all that year with no days off and save the whole time. At times it felt like it wouldn't be worth it, but they were the best holidays by far.

Once you've partied in Surfers Paradise, Magaluf and Ibiza don't even come close.

I go to magaluff with the blokes from work on a yearly basis. Last year we found a hotel where all drinks were inclusive!! not just the shit local beer too, all spirits, and beers etc... To say we kicked the pants out of it is an understatement! hotel was 30rats a night to. This year we've found a better hotel offering the same deal and there is nigh on 25of us going. if you want details of the hotels etc just drop me a pm.

Cheers people. I am actually doin a winter ski holiday in 6 weeks ibiza is an option but been told i need a lot of money and a fondness for drugs. (which i dont) kos is an option. Cheers. I went amsterdam for 3 days last year and i was very bored after 1 and half days. I did go malia last year. But i cant over power the other 10 lads that are goin. So i will suggest some more locations. Im likin kos idea. More suggestions welcome

nah the drugs are in ibiza if you want them but its not compulsary to buy them

can be expensive if you wanna spend every night in the big clubs but san antonio has a good range of bars and there not all that expensive either

Well the usual 'lads holiday' destinations are Kos, Malia, Faliraki, Kavos, Zante, Ayia napa, Shagaluf and ibiza if youre staying in the med.

I went to kavos last year, and it was wicked, so many bars and so much alcohol.

I went to zante the year before and that was wicked too, although everywhere tends to shut up at 4, only leaving 2 places open which get packed out. I think one was called Cherry Bay, the other was out of the way a bit and sucked.

Im not sure on where to go this year though ive been told malia and kos, but ayia napa sounds good to me.

Most places are good if YOU make them good.
