Default ka questions

Hi there, looks like i'll be driving a '98 Ka soon, so i was wondering...

Do 17's fit easily without any adjustment to the arches?? if so, with what profile tyres? and how much could you lower it by sensibly, bearing in mind i have a load of speed bumps where i live!!

17" fit on a 205 45 but will rub on full lock even without lowering it and it will look like a 4x4, go for some 15" on a 195 45 with offset 38 and lower it 35mm and it will look nice!

17s do fit under the plastic grey/black arches but as wide said they rub like a cnut and bumps are silly.

Get coilovers and 15's

Don't make it a tractor!

You could always fit the rack limiter kit to the ka which will stop it rubbing on lock, it's £60 from ford.

you'll need anything from et35 to et20 depending on the wheel width, with et25 and a 7.5J wheel you won't get scrubbing as standard, assuming it's 16" or less. if you spent some time playing you could probably get 8j on the front 8.5 on the rear, think a guy in germany did it. again size is the killer ;/
