How much boost do you advise me to run on my Saph??

It's got a standard t3,803's,rs500 spec. intercooler, 3inch scorpion, 3bar map sensor, and i think a 330 bhp chip.

My previous engine melted down the piston!!

I would say 18-20 psi anymore and your turbo will be on its limit

 

I'd say very little until its been set up properly.

you must be advised by whichever reputable company supplied/wrote the chip. if it's of unknown origin, i would not use it - a good one is not that expensive compared to a rebuild as i'm sure you well know

 

i ran 20 on that set up but only had a 2wd i/c

 

Thats what i`d say, altho get it to a tuner too make sure, dont just drive about without getting a set-up

 

i ran a 26psi spike and 24psi held on a 2wd t3, it made 315bhp and 326lb/ft with a cracked exhaust housing wastegate seat!!

 

mine runs 1.7 bar, but on 403's and 4x4 intercooler

 

depends how you drive it..

if its being held flat out i wouldnt run as much as 20....

 

Id peak it at 18 and holding 1 bar to be safe , but thats just me

For all the difference a couple of psi would make , really this would be slot safer i would say

 

i would get a custom map on it, as said above £400 is cheaper than a re-build
