Default What engine management?

What are my options?

Some thieving scum knicked the ecu off my car after I crashed it, and since the engine is going in the new car, I need an ecu. I'm just not sure what to get.

Opinions as to what is good and what is not would be appreciated.

try and get an L8 mate if you are sticking with std mgmt.

im running L6 on mine which is fine but the L8 is better.

The type of engine would be a good place to start - by telling us this, you may recieve an educated answer

Ok, so I forgot to mention that its an escort cossie engine. Was completely rebuilt to Stage 3. Will be rebuilt again over the next few months with lots of nice new bits, all a lot lighter and balanced up.

Budget is not a problem, the sale of all the old escos bits is paying for the build.

P8 is what was originally in the car, and would be the easiest to just bolt straight back in .

Like mike said put it back on P8 unless you want something with more features. Im switching to the collins ecu as no one in scotland wants to map p8.
