Default Greddy boost gauges, they any good (Stav?!)

Been offered a Greddy 60mm boost gauge for a nice price and wondering what they are like? Its a white faced 'warning series' with datalog/monitor (whatever that is!).

Is it worth the purchase??!!

Ah ok, so it has a remote box. Doesnt anyone do one with internal memory on the gauge?

Cheers mate

The remote box is just for the electro-mechanical conversion. The peak / recall function is built into each gauge (hence why they are so expensive), unlike the Defis which run a totally seperate controller (but only one is needed for ALL the gauges), hence why the Defi "gauge" prices are that much cheaper.

If that price includes all the sensors, BITE HIS ARM OFF!

The only issue is that like the Defis, they only go up to 2.0 bar.

The ideal stand alone item was one of these:

However, they are discontinued .

Where did you put the map sensor for this Mike?? I have one and was wondering if it had to be close to the plenum, or for ease - inside the car!! ?lol.

Ive just checked with him and it does include everything so deffo sounds like a bargain! 2bar is fine with me as my 200sx only runs 12psi!!

Are they easy to plumb into a Nissan?? (S14a)

that apexi gauge looks cool! I basically want a boost gauge that will save the peak boost, without remote boxes. Also, do they do water temp, oil pressure + temp at all?

I know SOD ALL about what gauges are about

The Greddy range will suit you down to the ground. However, the peak recall ones are only available in 60mm, and they are NOT cheap .

This is what I had in my Sapphire:

Positioned like this:

No remote box for peak recall, you just press buttons on the gauge. This was well before Defis were available (but I'm a trend-setter ).
