well, odd one this... i've just bought a set of 2nd hand brakediscs.
theyre in VGC, barely covered any mileage, but theyre bound to have some wear on them.
now, will i be ok to use this discs with my DS2500 pads currently on my car. ie can the pads bed in ok on the new discs? or am i up the creek and need to use abrand new set of pads, or the set of pads (std) that come with these used discs?
and yes i know it's not good practice to use 2nd hand brakes, but the price was good and figured it was worth trying before splasing out on brand new kit

Well, if you think about it, pads get changed a LOT more than discs, so at some point or another you will be putting new pads on worn discs!
Whack em on and try em, just take it real steady for 1k miles!

will be fine mate,,,,, the surface will bed in
what you think main dealers do when they have to change ONE disc under warranty
they use old pads,,,,,
ive used old disks on loads of cars when upgrading ect and never had a issue
if there fucked old discs that a different matter

if you flat the surface with a bit of sandpaper first it'll be fine
you have to get rid of the high spots that may have been left from the old discs, if you put the old pads on the new discs you might get a few lines appearing while they bed in
