Just sitting here (bored, as per usual) and decided I had to make a thread to express how brilliant skin is!

It's fucking ace! Seriously, when you think about it, there isn't really much else out there, that can repair itself like skin can!

I got a nasty, deep cut on my thumb today (not the thumb in the other post I made - this is a different wound on the other thumb, on the actuall fingerprint part) and I noticed that about and hour, hour and a a half or so after taking the plaster off this eve, that it had gone from a flappy bit of "dead" skin under which was a deep laceration, to nearly smoothed over, as it gre back together.

then I just fucked it again half hour ago but opening a bottle, and yet, within half an hour it's closed thw wound back up again and is smoothing over......

Skin fucking rules!

I have to disagree.


i have a skin disorder, and its terrible thing to have.

Sore/itchy ALL the time, dry, breaking up, seeping, bleeding, many night's with NO sleep.

And bloody expensive in creams, and medician, and time for the vistits to a skin specialist.

 

ive never had a complaint with my foreskin

 

I caught my thumb earlier today, it only took the skin off but it bled for ages and hurt lke a bastard.

Moving furniture, was carrying a big heavy desk and I let it slide down my hand when I put it down. I thought "that feels wet" looked down and saw the skin flapping about so I proceeded to chase my mate (who is squamish and hates blood) about with it flapping at him.

i cut my thumb once real bad with a stanly knife, wasnt major but it was deep as fock, shoulf od gone to A&E really, but i let it heal it self, ight of put some super glue on it now cant remeber but that fooking hurt.
