looked at a mk1 escort today rusty in the front areas new front wings innner and slam and rails need doing and two patches on the floor also and it needs repainting?
it has fulkl history and a genunie 56k from new its never had been welded and has just rotted out over the storge year id say
it tax exempt and it has v5 all wings(geniue mexico) and parts there to do the job and engine runs there no specil bits on it compleatly standerd?

i would say its worth at least 1k for a mex needing lots of work

 

It is a sellers market. I bough a car like that for less than Ł200 a few years ago. Some people will expect over Ł1k for what you have described. Go in at Ł500 and haggle.

 

well have spoke to him?he wants 11.with the mexico wings????he said he paid 1800 for it and wants some money back???what are the mex wings worth?as we want bubble arches on it so im not gona chop thos up for that id rather sell them? iwas thinking 800 for the lot?with the rs 4 spokes?

Genuine Ford Mexico wings get top money on e-bay (do a search). Even non-OE ones can fetch Ł200!!

well idid get it in the end for 800 with mex wings that i have already sold?ipast it over to my mate who runs the rs centre and hes gona strip it down this week and see what we have install for us not much by the looks of things as it neaver had any welding ever been stuck in a hey barn for 17 years ill post som picts later on chears all???
