Pissing it down this morning, wet track through out- very greesy and scary.
So erm.. Daz's dolly is certainly noisey and fucking scary in the wet.-Pics of it side ways coming up.
Andy_RS 500 many thanks for the ride out as usual- Top car, properly prepared and F'in fast.
Lee 21 turbo- I have a new found affection for R21's- most impressive..
TIm/Ollie- nutters. 205's rock.
Dingaling going well-- and side ways--- as too was an N/A one
Plenty of off's and spins left right and centre but I only saw one car damaged and it looked repairable- dark coloured Saff..
Also- 200sx- effortless drifting.. awesome..
Davecos 4x4 going like the clappers as per usual..
Porkies dad??? (was driving the skybus anyway) Had a bit of a chat with him about 205's- nice bloke.
I am sure I'll remember plenty more- pics in a bit..

also martin johnsons thing was pants (including the driver) he also never got below a 1 minute 50
that saph which had crashed didnt look too good.. although earlier on another session i did say it looked as if it handles like a bag of nails!
best track car today was the Ex touring car seat timed that at a 1min 30! which is stupidly fast for in the wet
and best fast road/track car has to go to Marco's rs2000 ran faultless all day and looks awesome fun!
Great Day at Dono as usual
being so wet on track gives things a different perspective

The 21 went dead well and Lee hung on to it well - twice

PMSL @ slow lap times.....
reason.... WET
never rev'd the car past 5k due to MASSIVE amount of wheel spin and what appears to be a plug lead breaking down......
I had a top day sideways most of the time and really don't give a fuck about laptimes

Sounds like a cool day was had by all!
Yeah......I had an AWESOME day today even though it was a wet day, very glad I had 4wd in the 21Turbo Quadra - had it sideways lots....overcooked it once on the exit of Coppice and spun it 360deg, stuck it back in gear & off we went again (Sorry Linsay......brown thong time!!).....had another 'moment' at Redgate, came into it far too quick, on the brakes as I turned in & knew what was going to happen....managed to just get a wiggle on & get it back!!!
Think the old French shed surprised a few people today.....roll on the next track day, got a few more mods to get to keep the old girl reliable....namely an oil cooler....as the oil was getting a bit warm & thin towards the end of the sessions!!!!

Was frigging cold and wet there, but an enjoyable day
Jake I'm surprised that you haven't learnt how to spell Donington yet, the amount of times you've been there!!!
I'm glad that I sold my pass on last night, as I would have been steaming about the awful standard of driving in Novices..... 2 particular cars spring to mind, the ones who stopped the sessions in the morning and the same ones who didn't use their mirrors & wouldn't move over for much faster cars down the pit straight.

Well I thought it was a top day apart from a couple of the drivers out there, as for people knocking Dingy you want to get your car out on track in those conditions and see how easy it is
I followed Dingy round for a couple of laps and his car control was awesome sideways all the time, it was a fun day and to me that is what a track day is all about

Dingy, apart from the missing your car sounds f..kin awesome
Daz, what can i say, loved watching you every time you was out
Also daz my mate said you made his day with the fire work show/drift over-taking move of the truck on the M42.
He was in the matt black Mk1 Jetta that let you in
Apart from that some wicked cars out there and some wickid driving to go with it, top day

Had a good day myself, only spectating though but gave me chance to get plenty of footage.
Daz's sideways is awesome, fair play !
Dingy your car rocks, shame you had so little traction, heard your comment about having to move the accelerator pedal
Loads of other nice cars about, RS6's looked very fast
and so did that Porsche !
Well done to everyone for sticking it out in such bad weather.
Clips to follow shortly I hope

Had a top day first track day i the Saph and went alot better than i thought i would tbh. Snapped actuator bracket on the way so was bodged with zip ties, which got me through the day[thanks Martin J], just ment i had to run a little less boost.
Came off at Redgate and slid along the grass for what seemed like a week, but no harm done. Also took a detor down the Melborne loop
Other than that just nice getting to know the car a bit more. I know i wasnt very quick but i dont really care tbh had a really good laugh and thats what i went to do.
So many entertaining cars today but the ones that stood out where the 2 MKII's, the 200sx, but the Dolly just made me laugh everytime it came down the pit straight.
Nice to put some names to faces B9 KOS, Trevcoss, The Diva, Sticker Paul and a load more.
P.S. Sorry if held anyone up at any points did try to shift out of the way when ever i could.
