i hope to wire the dta management - loom in tommorow to the project car etc

i know where all goes but one - would anyone be able to tell me which wire on the ford loom i would connect the "dashboard" wire on the dta loom too.

I have asked on the DTA site and had no responce.

whats the dashboard wire do?

 

to my knowledge ( i may be wrong) this wire wont stop it running its a wire that would i believe tell the management what revs or something the cars at - its probably used for mapping purposes. As i have a wire i run from the ecu to a laptop in the car and i can see real time everything etc i believe its something to do with that.

 

Which ECU do you have ?

 

like a CAN wire or a serial output,,,, my guessing is you wont be using it in your car

Only 2 wires go to the "dashboard" off an E48

The shiftlight and the rev counter

Do you already have these wired up ?

 

its not wired up yet mate will be tommorow - my guess it being the revs

so need to know which wire it is on the ford loom if you know mate

 

What coil pack are you using ?

There is a 3 or 4 pin plug that plugs into most,

Who did your wiring loom ?
