That is cheap!!

It was for sale on Autotrader quite some time ago 6/12 months and he was asking alot more for it then IIRC!

Well worth a look mate, 9.6k for that car is very good imo!

Good luck!

I have sent him some emails as the car is in Edinburgh and im in Northern Ireland.

Asking for receipts of work done, was there any faults with car etc

All he has for the car is the V5 and MOT Certificate.

So he mustn't have had the car when the work was carried out.

He told me that he has a current offer of 8.8k for the car so he must be in some rush to get rid of it, or is just like anyone else trying to flog their car on.

It just seems strange to me that a car with that list of mods is in this range. Its hard to find one standard that year etc without the mods for that price.

Is 100,000 miles ok with a car like this? what sort of mileage life is their in these?

When things seem to good to be true , they usually are mate, especially with Cosworths un fortunately, but its deffo worth a look, he may need a deposit on a house or summit daft like that and you might just be the lucky cunt who scores out the whole thing

Maybe its just someone who isnt sniffing glue wanting to sell their car quickly??? Easy way to find out is go get in a car and see it.

Totally went off this car now with the help of some fellow Ford men.

The car has no receipts for the work that has been done to it.

When i asked the seller for more pics of certain areas etc he said he was bust at this time of year and wouldnt be able to help me out.

All seems a bit bogus in my opinion, im just glad i had my wits about me.

dunno about bogus? but no receipts etc isn't great..

Although, everything has it's price.

What I'd do is ring the company that did the work (as they should have info on what they did) if that checks out ok that's good. Who buys it could then get a paper copy form them as proof. But then again if I was the seller I would of done this.

The owner does exist (as like I say I found his user name on here)

To be fair, coswurvs post could relate to anyone. It most probably was just a scammer who'd nicked the pics and spec off a for sale advert and put it on ebay for a silly buy it now price.

I've seen the original ebay advert (that the current owner bought it from) and it was legit and he'd won it for £9990 approx.

This is (i believe) the current owner..

https://passionford.com/forum/viewto...light=#3061510

I found him by putting HKS EVC in this search engine on here. Knew there wouldn't be much talk of those here.

As you can see in the thread it's him asking the very same question as this thread started out. Also you will notice the ebay advert from the previous owner.

I think its bad that sceptics on here have stopped the sale of someones car.... Especially when there is no evidence.

At the end of the day the car looks good and IF you bought it and the engine let go all you would need to do is spend £1500 or so and it would stil be a cheap escos as it seems to have plenty nice parts on it already.

do the usual checks on it, get the vin number, go see your local copshop, get it checked, then take someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to cossies! and go look at it.
