Gaming is limited by the power of the graphic card in general rather than specific RAM or processor.. most laptops are pretty capable in all areas other than gaming unless they wear the Celeron badge. ... its worth remembering however that really powerfull laptops in general have poor battery life and could not be considered lightweight.

For decent gaming laptops I would suggest Alienware products
http://www.alienware.co.uk/product_p...l_default.aspx

Some of the Dell XPS are pretty good specification for the price and worth considering..

In general I would keep away from the Acer's in Tesco's as they are all low end models. PC World in general offer nothing exciting or good value for money other than the mac products.

Get what you pay for unfortunately But Alienware is worth the top dollar, its build quality and finish is second to none, the Dell XPS is fantastic value for money and offers unbeatable performance and features for the price...
