Thats Maciej Polody, he competed in D1GB this year in his S14 200SX. Used to come all the way from Poland every time to compete.

Also had a silver Cossie powered Mk2 Escort he drifted too.

Good vids, I didnt realise POLODY at D1 was the same guy in the silver escort from years ago But if he has a Mk2 cossie lumped, why is he using the sx in competition? Makes me wonder cos the Escort has lock and angle, power and must have some speed too What does the jap car do better than the escort Hmm?

 

far from a expert on this but doesnt the SX have a huge amount of mods for adjusting the rear end of the car? maybe the escort doesnt have this?

Seriously tho, you mentioned angle, and if you look at Polody in the Escort, its good, but its not half as much angle, and nowhere near as much speed, as the S14a, so maybe they not all people think they are?
Honestly tho, I dunno.

Hes a sound bloke n speaks ok English from when ive spoke to him, ask him next year when he comes back over to compete.
