Default 2wd Saph Tyre Sizes

I'm currently runing a set of 17"x7 rims with 205/45/17 tyres. The tyres are getting close to their limits so I'm looking to change them, I'd like to get some wider tyres but I don't know what I can fit on the rims or in the wheel arch without having to mess with them.

I would never run less than a 215 on my cossie, you need as much tred as possible on the road, im hoping to get 235`s just shortly, euan from here has them with no trouble atall

After taking some advice off Euan i went for 235/40's on the back and dont have any problems. The smallest width rim they will fit on though is 7.5'' and the offset needs to be right aswell.

On a 7'' wide rim i wouldnt go over 215's tbh.
