what will give me more power my standard airbox with a panel filter or a group a induction kit on my stage3,bd10s, t34 low comp,500 cooler

cone filter, no idea if it gives better performance, but it sounds loads better

 

Deffo sounds better.

 

As above the cone filter sounds aswome, when i got told to fit a standard air box as it was better i did, but i didnt really like it, you cant hear the turbo spool up as good, and i felt it didnt make any difference atall, if anything more laggy, but as i said thats only cos you dont hear the full effect of the turbo spinning up

 

filter in box will give more power than a "normal" cone filter set up..

 

DEPENDS ON HOW YOU SET IT UP. CONE FILTER WITH HEAT SHEILD AND A GOOD COLD AIR FEED, WILL GIVE MORE POWER AND SOUND BETTER, THE ORIGINAL AIRBOX & PANEL FILTER IS GOOD UP TO 500 BHP FROM WHAT IVE HEARD.

 

got told to do this bye ava on my volvo t5r

removed my cone filter and put standard but improved system on with a better panel filter in and got more power at earlier rpm.

ok not as much turbo spool-up can be heard or turbo stall cumming off boost but i dont care its better than the cone
