I'm personally going to wait untill DS is tried and tested, as the Bluefin has been. It does seem the way forward though, seems some have run into issues when setting it up though that have never come to light with BF, which makes me wary at this stage.

Hi

I decided to bite the bullet and i had Dream Science fitted to the car today....

I am very impressed with the outcome, the car feels as it should.
It has 3 settings,
1 on high boost,
2 on low boost
3 with no boost when the car has to go into the garage for work!!!!!

As an added bonus a launch control has been set up in 1st gear, so i can set what revs i want the car to hold until i lift off the clutch.

Overall i am very happy and would recommend the system

Thats nearly that same as mine, 248 and 307, is yours a standard car or modified? are you running the standard boost solenoid?

I have the following fitted to mine

Ford Tubular Manifold, Full Mongoose decat Exhaust, Samco Boost Hoses, Blitz SS DV, K&N GenII Induction Kit, MIL Eliminator, Pro Alloy chargecooler, Apexi boost controller.

I'm back at EA next wednesday having an uprated fuel pump fitted as the car was running lean higer up the reve range....

Where abouts in Kent are you??

Quick update, just got back from having the fuel pump fitted and a tweak.. The car is now pushing 334ftlb of torque and 260 bhp, I'll get the graph up later. The boost issues they were experiencing have now been resolved but I decided to fit the avcr, the boost in 1st and 2nd has been turned down to allow drivability 3rd onwards holds 1.25 bar. Overall I'm very happy with what paul has done with the car and will be going back in the not to distant future for the stage 1 hybrid of the standard turbo.

Hi

EA's have a special offer at the mo £499 incl RR Tune to match the box to the cars mods. Normal RRp is £549 plus RR tune.

It is the same idea as bluefin as it is a plug in box which plugs into the serial port. But the main difference is it can be mapped to the cars mods, unlike bluefin.

I also have 3 modes on mine 1- High Boost 2- Low Boost 3- Valet mode- No boost.

Plus it has a launch control style system build in for the quick getaways...

As stated above i have been very impressed not only with the service from EA's but also with Dream Science box.

If you want to see it in action feel free to PM and you can have a play!!!

But what if the car is standard even no uprated exhaust would it still be worth it? i suppose if you then got an exhaust and k&n then it could be mapped again? I might take you up on that offer once mine is sold

Hi

Yeah it will make a big diffrence to a standard car.. It gives you about 1.3bar boost, and takes away the boost limitar in 2nd gear..

It makes the feel more alive

Hi

No it is a flash tuner, so it takes off the info from the ECU then puts it flash files onto the ECU. At anyyime you can then put back the standard tune.

With Bluefin once it has been used it is useless unless reset by Superchips.

With the Dreamm Science i am led to believe that you can put you r standrd map back on the car, then have it re mapped for another car. I am told this can be 3 or 4 times before Dream Science have to reset the handset.....
