do they come with power steering or were they an optional extra? and if they come without is it hard/expensive to fit?

as theres a eRST for sale near me, thinkin about buyin it for the missus but she wants PAS

Some Mk4's did have it fitted but no S2's as far as im aware

Rare as to get hold of now too

To the best of my knowledge it was only the MK4 mobility models that had power steering.

Need i say anymore about your chances of finding a rack off one of those

Ok so thats told me! Whats the steering like on the S2's? she had a vauxhall corsa SRi before that and the steering was deadful...

Depends on what profile tyres its running.

But its a 15 year old car and like most 15 year olds they throw tantrums, have hissy fits and like to be grounded quite often.

How much of a head start do you need ?



Was gonna suggest you could fit the Corsa electric column into the Mk4 but if she didn't like it in he corsa then she wont like it in the escort either
