Default FIESTA MK3 TRACK CAR

finally after 2 years of no track toy there is a new one on the way.
ever since the mk4 escort rotted away ive been wantin to make a new track car and when my best mate said he was also on the look out for one we thought why not go all out and build one from scratch from a bare shell. it seamed a great idea to go in on the project together as he is great wiv bugets and money and wantin to learn more about cars and i bring all my motor trade skills and knowlegde (plus it means we can go down thw workshop and chill away from work and the wives lol)

so over the next 6 to 8 months i will be posting pics on here showin how we are gettin on and wot we are doin , we are already 1 month in so as soon as the pics are loaded i will post them up

enjoy

the donor shell was a 1.8 diesel 95plate wiv a blown engine, good box suspension , brakes , glass doors and a little bit of interior.
[/img]
apart from the back panel and a few minor scabs it looked in bloody good nick
[img]
[/img]

the wheels are a mates they come off and are replaced wiv steelers for now

Got a mk3.5 myself - always enjoy reading up on other people's projects. Looks like a tidy shell apart from the rear panel. What is the planned spec then?

Keep the updates coming

next up the passenger wing came off due to the fact we could see a little rot behind the door

and that little rot turned into a very rotten post out wiv the welder i think

the top inner wing rail is well gone to started to cut the rot out to find it was gone behind to this is going to be a long job
