Sure

From personal experience, after having my metering head setup and modded I was able to run a 2bar spike using MFI, Newman Cam and heavily ported head with oversized valves, using one pump.

In response to my question asking the reasoning behind wanting to fit 2 pumps "at 16 psi its running lean as im still on mfi" was given as reason. My answer "KE Jet mod should see you fine!" points towards the solution to the problem being rectified with tweeks to the fueling system itself rather that adding an additional pump.

Hope thats good enough explaination

Default 5th injector setup

i used the ERL mf2 fully mappable fith injector kit, which i had doubts about first but believe me it was amazing in the end. It does exactly what you want it to do and if you are one of those who wants to keep the mfi setup then you cant go wrong with one of these. My metering unit had no mods and with fith injector i ran 250 no problems at all. I highly reccomend this kit to anyone and believe it or not it is so easy to fit. My electrician charged me 20 quid to fit as i told him exactly where to splice and solder.

I had the same mod with about a 24psi spike - no probs at all, drove to Le Mans with it this summer

Still have the full system if anyone is looking for one, as have had new management put on now

Am i right in sayin thou, that using a fifth injector will obviously supply extra fuel but as the injector is usually put in the cross over pipe there is no gaurentee what cylinders will get the desired amount of fuel. Saying that though I had one on my s2 never ended up with a meltdown so obviously worked well enough on that setup.

Well, think about it

Only one cylinder inducts at a time, and you have a continuous spray going in.

Its not the best system, but its accurate enough if you want to keep MFI

You are correct when you say it comes on at a certain rpm/boost pressure, but it will spray continuously until the boost/rpm level goes below the preset limit
