Im keeping up with the jones's my next door neighbour has a charade turbo with a dump valve !!!!! LOL

 

just found my dump valve controler off my s2 so now i can have both at the flick of a switch

 

keep it if you like it,its not doing any good for the running of your car but neither does a cone filter but people still persist with them

i dont mind dump valves but found my car to run a lot smoother off boost and generally felt a better drive,so binned it

jambo im interested to know how good your airbox is ie how it runs compared to a K & N etc

 

can u get a chatter on a mfi with some modding of not ?

 

my car made more power with the airbox compared to the cone filter,not just peak power all thru the revs there were losses

 

I suppose its better as it keeps the hot air from the filter, does it have a slight roar as would a after market filter ??

the hole is only enlarged to get more air in,the roar you get from a k&n is the fucker rasping for air

 

LOL !!! I wont be suckin in any air at the mo as the clutch has just died !!!!

 

Your best off not to run one, if you really want one it wont cause any harm but it makes them a bit juddery when you come off the throttle.

Falls down to personal preference and if you can put up with your car driving annoyingly!
