dump vavle or not

dump vavle or not
i carnt make my mind up do i keep or dump my dump valve on my s1 do they really do much?and k&N cone filter or my standad air box,?????? start your voteing men.

just found my dump valve controler off my s2 so now i can have both at the flick of a switch

keep it if you like it,its not doing any good for the running of your car but neither does a cone filter but people still persist with them
i dont mind dump valves but found my car to run a lot smoother off boost and generally felt a better drive,so binned it

my car made more power with the airbox compared to the cone filter,not just peak power all thru the revs there were losses

I suppose its better as it keeps the hot air from the filter, does it have a slight roar as would a after market filter ??

the hole is only enlarged to get more air in,the roar you get from a k&n is the fucker rasping for air

Your best off not to run one, if you really want one it wont cause any harm but it makes them a bit juddery when you come off the throttle.
Falls down to personal preference and if you can put up with your car driving annoyingly!
