Need pics of one way valve
Which was round should the one way valve go on the Escort RST from the top of the inlet manifold?

The valve on the top left nozzle on the inlet manifold that goes to the top left of the rocker cover.

You can put the valve one way or the other. Just need to make sure I have it the right way round. Its hard work in here sometimes.

its that bit that im unsure off... didnt know there was such a pipe that did that

Dave.......................what one way is the point we are tryin to make.
There is no one way valve!!! The only one way valve on a MK4 is in the brake servo pipe.

i take it you mean the breather or the pipe that joins to the inlet manifold from breather,it shouldnt have a valve in it
did efi's not have a one way valve
on them

Only on MFI mate, EFI doesnt use one!

Think I've worked it out now. The one way valve stops the +'ve boost going into the rocker cover through the breather but allows the engine to breath on tickover.
