Hi,

My bro is pretty strapped for cash and has sold his golf and bikes etc. to buy a house.

He has got himself a Escort Van to smoke about in, cant remember the exact year, think its a V reg or summit.

What mods can be done quite cheap? he works at a salvage auction so can got most parts from other cars pretty cheap or free.

I was thinking:

Mondeo or Escort TD transplant with front mount and increased boost and fuelling
Escort GTI front suspension and Anti roll bar (what can be done to the rear??)
Mondeo 15" steels with decent tyres
some nicer seats

What else can be done cos hes board to tears with a standard car now

the van is very tidy and he wants to do a few cheap mods, thats what its all about aint it?

loads, i have done a S plate myself. lowered, fogged front bumper, si trim, e/w c/l plus loads of other stuff... plus the advantage of having a van is that you can chuck all your crap in the back of it and not worry... cant do that in a cabrio aye alex?
